Particularly committed to the role of art and creativity in our everyday lives, Martial Mingam advocates for a broader vision of the fields of expression and devotes a large part of his work to exploring technology from a societal perspective.

Trained as a photographer (École des Gobelins and a master’s degree from Paris VIII University in the philosophy of art history, with a concentration in photography), he developed an interest in the relationship between image and sound at an early age and embarked on a career as a director and motion designer.

He cut his teeth in the fields of communications, advertising, and music videos before turning his attention to projects spanning installation art and scenography (Natural Reflx, an exhibition of the Flowers series at the Bordeaux Botanical Garden, various exhibitions for the APCd Foundation, including an adaptation of the Truffaut exhibition from the Cinémathèque de Paris at the former Ilford premises in Marly, Switzerland), and the production of utopia3 podcasts on Human rights issues.

His professional career has been punctuated by various activities in the field of education, notably serving as director of eikonlab (eikon’s interactive research and development workshop) since 2015.
